From the first text to the take-down date, in the order it happens.

Step 1: Book your visit
Book a consultation, or book your style and we'll message you a few questions. A style marked "Deposit to book" holds the day with a deposit.

Step 2: What to bring
A photo of the style you want. Your braiding hair, if you're bringing it. A phone charger and something to watch.

Step 3: When you arrive
Come to the front door on West Cary Street at your time. Park on the block or the side streets, and text us when you're outside.

Step 4: What to expect
We part, section and braid in order, with a short break halfway for water and a stretch. Most installs run between four and eight hours, and your consultation sets the day.

Step 5: Afterward
We go over how to sleep in it, how to wash it and when to come back for the take-down. Book that visit before you leave if you'd like.

Four things worth knowing
Hair you bring
Bring the braiding hair you like, in any brand. Tell us when you book, and the amount is part of your quote.
Length we need
Most styles need a few inches of your own hair. We'll tell you at the consultation if another style would hold better.
A long day
Plan the whole stretch of the appointment. Eat before you come, charge your phone and bring something to watch.

Taking down a style someone else did? Book a take-down and we'll look at it before we start.
